Full Description
With a wonderful and completely original frame, including original seat rails below the fabric, this beautiful early Georgian Walnut stool has lovely proportions, is strong and robust, and has a most attractive colour.

The well formed cabriole legs with small carved roundels at either side of the hips, united by elegantly shaped original stretchers and all set on high pad feet.

The stool newly re-upholstered in a top quality Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company silk and linen tapestry fabric which retails at £210 per meter.

A superb example in very good original condition, some small losses to the base of one foot, some old worm holes here and there to the rails, feet and to one knee and is long since dead.

Heavy and usable with no weak or loose joints.
