Full Description
The settle is very pretty and has unusual and original cupboards to the front board with original curved shelves within. The seat is twin boarded, original, and fixed.

Condition is excellent throughout, heavy and very sturdy and tightly jointed.

There are minor knocks, nibbles and bruises consistent with age and use and an old fine and completely stable crack in one of the fielded panels of the back. Another of the back fielded panels has a small and very old let in repair - none of which is unpleasant or significant and in our view is part of the charm and character of the bench.

Heavy and comfortable with a really tactile quality this is a lovely early settle of excellent colour and in good original condition
