Full Description
A very unusual and attractive baker’s table made in solid chestnut and beautiful figured throughout and with a vibrant warm colour

The table with a lovely rich patina and two large drawers with original solid nailed up linings – one drawer to the front frieze and the other to the side, both with original iron handles and with an additional original chestnut leaf which can be pulled out to extend the surface.

Very solid and heavy, originally used for making, rolling and kneading dough in a French or Dutch bakery. Minor dings, marks and a couple of small old repairs, a smattering of old worm holes here and there but very few and long since dead.

A really charming table, very practical and usable, which will look lovely in any interior.
