Early 17th Century Solid Silver Seal Top Spoon Initialled and dated 1634

A beautiful early seal top spoon with the very finely punched initials M.E. and the date 1634

Slightly obscured maker’s mark T C (possibly Thomas Cooper) weight is 1 ounce and length is 6.75 inches (17.5cm)

In very good original condition, a beautiful early English silver spoon with a lovely shape and no repairs or later elements.

This is a rare and charming early spoon, lovely shape, heavy in the hand. It would make a very special Christmas present.
