Full Description
All original timbers throughout including the feet and the drawer which is elm and has retained its original lining.

In very good condition throughout with a fantastic colour to the elm and vibrant swirling grain and a deep glowing patina. A charming and eye catching table and of a good size and height. Old and slender wooden braces have been added beneath the top more than 100 years ago as was usual in the 19th century and these are precautionary and are only visible when the table is viewed from below. The top has a slight wave as shown on our photographs which again is almost always seen on such an early table and is charming and natural and does not affect use.

The table will seat six people comfortably and probably more at a squeeze - the table is opens to a large oval when open.

Rare to see a good early table in elm and the colour and condition is lovely
