Full Description
Very good early lowboy with oak lined drawer and hand azed elm three boarded top set on well turned legs and retaining original brass split pin handles.

Pegged throughout and with channel carved stretchers, some old worm – long since dead – to stretchers. Original oak drawer linings.

Very rich and deep colour and natural patination, particularly lovely to the top boards which have developed a natural rippling in the surface of the elm which really enhances the tactile quality and appearance of the table.

Sturdy, extremely heavy and substantial.
