Full Description
The finely detailed small batwing brasses are original.

All original timbers throughout and a lovely quarter matched top with featherbanding and a deeply crossbanded border with double ovolu moulded edge.

The cabriole legs to front and back each beautifully shaped with carved scolls at hocks and well shaped spade feet.

Deep well shaped apron to front and the design repeats at each side.

The lowboy is of small and well balanced proportions and it sits down beautifully. The original oak drawer linings are of very fine boards with original nailed up bottoms, fine dovetail joints and with clean interiors. One long frieze drawer over two short drawers each with crossbanded and featherbanded oversailing curved borders and all the drawers open and close with a smooth action

An excellent example and an absolutely delightful piece of early 18th century English furniture in unusually fine original condition.
