Fine Pair of 19th Century Inlaid Walnut Marquetry Side Cabinets c.1890

This is such a beautiful pair of high quality Victorian walnut cabinets and both are in excellent original condition.

Full Description
The serpentine shaped doors, each with original lock and working key, open to reveal a single fixed shelf and are beautifully inlaid with foliate marquetry. The scrolling shield shaped cartouche centred with a vase and flowers and the shields flanked by scrolls of featherbanded ribbons. The deep shapely aprons inlaid with matching marquetry of super quality.

Each cabinet with double serpentine oversailing tops and set on four carved cabriole legs with ringed ankles and set on large ball and claw feet.

Very heavy, in excellent original condition and with a lovely colour.  The tops in excellent order also with no marks or damage.

A superb and substantial pair of cabinets with huge 'wow' factor.
