A beautiful 18ct gold sapphire dress ring set with eight oval facetted sapphires of a lovely deep cornflower colour, without damage and with wonderful clarity and sparkle and with two small inset diamonds on each shoulder. The band is un-marked but tests as 18 carat gold.
Very good quality and appears to have been made bespoke, it is extremely comfortable to wear as the stones have been set to sit flat against the finger.
Purchased from a local estate and a jewel which is believed to have been in the family since the 1930s.
