Full Description
A very elegant walnut stuff over stool in the Queen Anne manner with long and elegant cabriole legs, scallop shell carved knees and fine slipper feet.

Very sturdy and robust and newly upholstered in a fine quality blue, teal and pewter silk upholstery fabric from the Gainsborough Silk Weaving Company (retails at £250 per meter), with antique pewter nailed finish.

Very comfortable with a well padded seat, sturdy and robust with no movement or weak joints.

In excellent original condition with only minor marks and dings, a couple of old worm holes to the inner face of one leg (about four and all long since treated and dead), the stool made by hand in around 1830.

All original timbers including seat rails and difficult to distinguish from a Queen Anne Stool c. 1710
