Full Description
The fabric is 1930s and although serviceable it is worn in places and the arms have been roughly patched with the same material so whilst the chairs are well sprung and can be used as are, re-upholstery or seat covers are recommended to show these chairs to their full potential.

They have a lovely elongated shape, like Howard chairs, and are extremely comfortable with deep wide and well padded seats and a long deeply raked backs - perfect as a pair of fireside chairs and very attractive.

The chairs are heavy and sturdy with no breaks, repairs or weak joints.

A lovely original pair of attractively shaped, substantial and comfortable 19th century wing chairs at a very small price.
