£680
Dated
c.1700
Dimensions
18 inches high, 15.5 inches wide and 12 inches deep (all maximum)
Full Description

A lovely and original joined oak stool with original timbers
throughout and original peg joints.

In excellent condition, sturdy and solid. One small shake to edge of one stretcher, not
through just on the surface and old, stable and not going anywhere.

The legs and seat are oak, the seat rails and stretchers are
elm.

From a local country house, with a very attractive natural warm
and rich patina and a really great colour.

A provincial stool with turned barrel legs and blocked
stretchers and well shaped original top.

Nice example, heavy and with a splayed shape for
stability. Stools like this are rarely
found in such original condition.
