Full Description
A beautiful Georgian solid mahogany supper table seating six to eight people. Very substantial and heavy and deeply crossbanded in beautifully exotic coromandel.

The solid mahogany base of high quality also with acanthus carved hips over quatruped base with long channel carved sabre legs terminating in brass lion paw original casters. The well turned gunbarrel column is beautiful, substantial and supports the top so that it is perfectly level and firm.

The top can be tilted so that the table takes up very little space when not in use. The brass catch appears original and works well and the table tilts and closes smoothly.Lovely colour throughout and no visible repairs, worm, breaks or damage.

Made by hand in around 1820, a very good usable and practical Regency supper table.
