Full Description
A very beautiful and small oak chest of drawers with a superb colour and beautiful deep patina and dating from c. 1600.

Original timbers, sturdy, heavy and substantial. The drawers open and close smoothly, fully oak lined and pegged throughout. Turned and reeded supports over lower tier. Reeded borders to the chest.

Lovely slender and original oak boarded top, the rear corners with small scarfed in oak restorations as shown in our photographs, lower tier with similar oak scarfed in replaced section at rear.

Feet original, two with very slim oak cappings. Otherwise no later timbers. Handles in original places and appear hand cast and original with iron pin tails.
