Made in around c. 1870, this is a very large and impressive giltwood mirror. The plate has been replaced many years ago and the mirror gives a clear and deep reflection and is without any foxing or noticeable marks or depletions.
The frame with original gesso and gilt finish in very good condition also.
The back board set with brass fixings and a substantial chain ready for wall hanging.
The plate and frame in excellent condition for age, the crest has been repaired at some time, visibile only from the back.
