Full Description
These two early and primitive stools date from the late 18th century.

The pine stool has had a fair few woodworm gnawing away at it in past years but this is long treated and dead and the stool is solid and robust and usable. The smaller elm stool has a lovely shape with channel carved border and a very good colour. Original throughout.

The useful and charming small stools are pieces of early provincially made furniture and look great dotted around the house.
