A superb example of an early Georgian footstool with particularly good colour, with original finish and good patination, and in excellent original condition.

The short cabriole legs with scrolled hips, lovely flattened pad feet which almost appear to melt into the floor. Sits well and has very good proportions. Solid mahogany and made c. 1740

Newly and professionaly upholstered in a top quality heavy chenille and silk fabric and fully padded and comfortable.

No breaks, damage or restoration. A very very good stool.
